As Maryland's Declared State of Emergency is over, things are continuing to evolve and will return to a greater degree of pre-pandemic normalcy. Moving forward please keep the following in mind:
We are still monitoring information from federal, state, and local agencies, and will make any policy adjustments as needed
Manufacturers are still experiencing supply issues and many items are still in short supply or unavailable.
We are keeping the plexi-glass dividers in place and being diligent about cleaning the store.
Please be respectful of those who choose to continue wearing masks and other personal protective equipment.
Senior Shopping hours will no longer be in effect and everyone is welcome anytime.
While social distancing requirements are gone, it is a good idea to give the person in front of you some space.
It's been hard and we are all tired. Thank you all for your cooperation during the past 16 months and for shopping with us.
Sincerely,
Christopher's Fine Foods Management

Updated April 14, 2020
It has been a crazy few weeks to say the least. The situation continues to evolve. Here is a breakdown of what has and is happening.
A new Anne Arundel County Health Department Order for Public Safety has been issued that requires the wearing of face coverings by:
· All customers while shopping at retail locations
· All employees of retail stores will also be required to wear face coverings in any area of the store where they are likely to come in contact with coworkers or the public
Please note that this order does not apply to:
· Children under 2 years old
· Those who could not wear a mask or face covering without inhibiting their health
This new order reinforces our earlier guidance to employees requiring them to wear gloves and face coverings.
Our plexiglass shields arrived and were installed last week at all our checkouts and customer service counter.
Store customer capacity limits have been reduced and floor markings to promote social distancing at check out have been in place for 2 weeks. We are very grateful to everyone for your understanding and compliance with all the changes to date.
Lastly, we want to thank the members of our community who have taken it upon themselves, at different times, to go above and beyond by purchasing lunch for our staff. It is actions such as those that have shown what kind and generous people you truly are, and we are sincerely grateful.

To Our Customers & Community,
Continuing issues surrounding the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19), are at the forefront of everyone's mind. The health, safety, and wellbeing of Christopher's Fine Foods' customers and staff is our highest priority. This is a rapidly evolving situation. We are closely monitoring the guidance of local, national, and global health authorities including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the World Health Organization (WHO), and the Maryland Department of Health (MDH) to ensure our actions address the current challenges. Here are the steps we are taking to heighten our already high quality food safety standards, and provide you with the confidence that we are doing our very best to keep our shelves stocked with the items you need.
Keeping Our Location Safe
Christopher's Fine Foods has detailed store cleaning and sanitizing procedures in place. We are increasing our efforts so you can continue to shop with confidence.
· We are giving greater attention to sanitizing and disinfecting high-touch areas, including checkout stations, shopping carts, hand baskets, and transaction pin pads.
· In addition to our customer's health and safety, we are focused on keeping our staff safe and healthy too, by providing them with information, training, tips, and guidance from the CDC and local health officials on healthy workplace habits.
Stocking Essential Items You Need
We are closely monitoring our inventory and working diligently with our suppliers to keep high-demand products in stock. Such items include hand sanitizer, disinfecting wipes, paper towels, toilet tissue, bleach, and other cleaning products. In some cases, these products are in very limited supply across the country and we, like many other companies, are experiencing “out of stocks” from our suppliers. As soon as the products become available, we will quickly re-stock our shelves.
If you have any further questions about our efforts, please call us at (410) 867-1510.
We want you to know that we understand the importance of our role in serving our community during times like this. We are committed to doing our very best for our customers, our community, and our staff every day.
Thank you so much for choosing to shop with us. We hope these added measures give you confidence we are doing our best to provide a great shopping experience and keep you safe.
Sincerely,
Christopher's Fine Foods Management
